Kapur picked up a cheque of $ 80,000 (Rs 41 lakh after finishing with a four-day total of 13-under 271, ending four behind the leader. He had rounds of 67, 68, 69 and 67 at the Asian Tour and Japan Golf Tour.
Colts lose
Kolkata: The India under-16 football team went down 2-3 to Uzbekistan in their opening match of the U-16 Asian Cup in Tehran. Uzbekistan had beaten India 9-0 in the qualifiers last year but the Indian colts, coached by Colm Toal, put up a fighting show with striker Uttam Rai from Sikkim bagging a brace. India next face Syria on Tuesday.

SEOUL: Former world number one Caroline Wozniacki dropped just one game against Kaia Kanepi in the lop-sided final of the Korea Open on Sunday for her first WTA title of the year. The top-seeded Dane, currently ranked 11th, took just over an hour for a 6-1 6-0 victory over the Estonian who had beaten her in the third round of French Open earlier this year.
