Photos: Delhi shivers as minimum temperature drops to 3.4 degree Celsius

Cold wave conditions persisted in the Capital as Delhi recorded the season’s lowest temperature, at 3.4 degrees Celcius, on December 20 although sunshine during the day has lent some respite to the biting cold. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a further drop in minimum temperatures over coming days with strong surface winds of up to 20kmph and dense fog also likely over northwestern India.
