Rajinikanth left for the Himalayas day before the release of his action entertainer Jailer. The film opened at a massive ₹48 crore and is now moving towards the ₹250 crore mark. His first stop was at the Badrinath Temple in Chamoli, Uttarakhand.  (PTI)

An ashram official told PTI about the actor's visit, "Rajinikanth meditated for about an hour in Yoganandji's room at Yogoda's ashram in Ranchi. In this meditation here he felt unique peace and divinity. After meditation, he met and had spiritual consultations with senior swamis of Yogoda."  (PTI)
