A paper-made hot air balloon (popularly known as ‘Fanush’) made by PK Mullick, painted with Durga from Kusum Smriti , on the occasion of Diwali/ Kali Puja, at Beadon street, in Kolkata, West Bengal. Though the art of fanush-making is a dying, in the recent years, fanush has become an integral part of Kolkata’s Kali Puja celebrations.
