The Victoria Cross (VC) medal (L) awarded to Ted Kenna for bravery during action against the Japanese in New Guinea, is up for auction in Melbourne. One of 20 Victoria Crosses awarded to Australians during the Second World War, the medal is expected to fetch around $974,000 when auctioned on July 28.
