  • United States President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden on Saturday hosted their eldest granddaughter, Naomi Biden’s wedding in a private ceremony at the White House. The 28-year-old lawyer from Washington married 25-year-old law graduate Peter Neal in the executive mansion's grounds, marking the 19th wedding there. She is the daughter of Hunter Biden and Kathleen Buhle, his first wife. Naomi was given the name of the President's first daughter, who died in a car accident in 1972 that also claimed the life of his first wife. According to US press reports, Naomi Biden plays an important role in the President's inner circle and has pushed him to run for the office in 2020.
