Photos: Vehicle malfunction sparks California Wildfire, now out of hand

A huge wildfire raging in Southern California is being estimated as the biggest blaze so far this year. The fire started at Oak Glen Road in Cherry Valley, on August 3, after a vehicle malfunction led to spewing burning carbon from its exhaust system. Record low moisture in the vegetation, low humidity and high temperatures has aided the widespread of the fire which has now spread over 20,000 acres (8,000 hectares). Nearly 2,260 firefighters backed by helicopters, water-dumping planes and trucks have been deployed to put out the fire.
