A 22-year-old resident of Nigdi was arrested by Pune police for running a prostitution den under the guise of a massage parlour in Chinchwad area of Pimpri Chinchwad Municpal Corporation (PCMC). The police also rescued three girls during the raid. While one of the them is from Nepal, the two girls are residents of Pune.

The raid was jointly conducted by officials of the social security cell and Chinchwad police station.
The police recovered ₹5,500 in cash, two mobile phones, leave and license agreements, account books and chequebooks among others from the spa.
Nitin Londhe, police naik of the social security cell, Pune police, led by Sanjay Patil, police inspector, social security cell, received information about Jogdand's operations of forcing the massage therapists to double up as prostitutes.
The three women were sent to a rescue home in Mohammadwadi area of Hadapsar.
The massage parlour, called Spa Glow, is located on the second floor of Gawade building in Chinchwadgaon area.
A case under Sections 3, 4, 5 of Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act, 1956 along with Section 370(a)(2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) was registered at Chinchwad police station against Jogdand.
