Civil hospital pharmacist booked for molesting intern

The Division Number 2 police have booked a pharmacist of Lord Mahavira civil hospital for allegedly molesting an intern on Saturday.

The Division Number 2 police have booked a pharmacist of Lord Mahavira civil hospital for allegedly molesting an intern on Saturday.

The accused, Kulbhushan Kumar, is at large.

In her complaint, the victim submitted that she was undergoing internship at the civil hospital.

She alleged that on Saturday evening, Kumar, a pharmacist at the civil hospital, called her to a room. When she went there, the pharmacist pounced over her and molested her. She raised an alarm and managed to run from the spot.

Later, she lodged an FIR at Division Number 2 police station against the pharmacist. Inspector Barjinder Singh, station house officer (SHO) at Division Number 2 police station, said the police had launched a manhunt to arrest the accused.
