In Tarn Taran, ex-serviceman dies in cash queue

Malook Singh had gone to the bank with his grandson Akashdeep Singh to withdraw pension money. “As there was rush, he had to stand in the queue. After some time, he collapsed,” Akashdeep said. “We called the ambulance and took him to the civil hospital at Chabhal, where doctors declared him dead,” he said. Police started the inquest proceedings and handed over the body to the family.
