Major fire breaks out at 2 factories and 5 godowns in Ludhiana, three injured

Three people, including a fire fighter, have sustained burn injuries.

A major fire broke out at two factories and five godowns near Cheema Chowk in Ludhiana district on Friday afternoon. Eight fire tenders are pressed into service to douse the flames.

Three people, including a fire fighter, have sustained burn injuries.

According to sources, mishandling of drums containing chemicals may have been the reason behind the fire. A swift car and seven two-wheeler were gutted, property worth crores have been destroyed.
