Woman commits suicide, husband booked
Fed up with the dowry demands by her husband, a 28-year-old woman committed suicide at Mehla village in this district on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Charanjit Kaur.

Fed up with the dowry demands by her husband, a 28-year-old woman committed suicide at Mehla village in this district on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Charanjit Kaur.
The police have registered a case against husband Sikander Singh on charges of abetment to suicide.
Sukhdev Singh, father of the deceased, complained to the police that her daughter was married to Sikander nine years ago and he used to harass her with continuous demands of dowry.
On the night of June 20, Charanjit committed suicide by consuming poison. She was rushed to the local hospital where she died on Friday.
