The trailer of the Tamil/Telugu bilingual Annadurai (Indrasena in Telugu) was released on Wednesday. The film, which is set to release in December, will see Vijay Antony in an action avatar.

Antony Vijay’s new film is a bilingual called Annadurai in Tamil and Indrasena in Telugu.

The 1.20-minute video shows the film as an entertainer with realistic touches. The trailer throws several montages at us -- we see Antony caught in fights, there is a powerful rival, he goes to jail and is manhandled there. Much later, we see him in a bearded avatar. Here he is in a much tougher avatar than the first part. Evidently, he is out seeking revenge. Dressed in all black, he is now a man with a purpose.

Directed by G Srinivasan and produced by Radhika Sarath Kumar and Fathima Vijay Antony, the film also stars Diana Champika, Mahima, Jwell Mary, Radha Ravi, Kaali Venkat, Nalinikanth and Rindhu Ravi.

Antony has also composed the music for the film. The music composer turned actor has come to be associated with films that are not really mainstream but they manage to be commercial successes like, say, Pichaikaaran. Incidentally, the film has no connection with Tamil political heavyweight CN Annadurai.
