Nandmuri Balakrishna is back in yet another massy entertainer after Paisa Vasool. The first look of Jai Simha, the actor’s 102nd film is out, and it caters to Nandamuri’s fan base.
Jai Simha is directed by KS Ravikumar and produced by C Kalyan. The first look poster and motion poster of the film was released on Twitter by CK Entertainments, which is producing the film.
Balakrishna looks ready to set the screen on fire with his signature dialogues. The movie is said to star Nayanthara, Hari Priya and Natasha as female leads. The producers had also announced that the film will release in January next year, on Sankranti.
From the poster, it looks like the film will have Balayya playing a larger-than-life character. The backdrop has people holding placards and posters. It looks like they are protesting something specific, and Balayya will play the role of the saviour.
Director KS Ravikumar is known for churning out hit commercial films. However, his last two projects, Mudinja Ivana Pudi in 2016 and Lingaa in 2014, did not perform too well at the box office.
On the work front, Balakrishna will also be a part of NTR biopic. He will play the role of his father Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR). The biopic is expected to be directed by Teja. This film will be jointly produced by Balakrishna and Sai Korrapati. Director Ram Gopal Varma, on the other hand, has also decided to do a biopic of NTR, from his wife Lakshmi’s point of view.
