Neerali will bring back the much-loved onscreen pair of Mohanlal and Nadhiya. The film also marks Bollywood director Ajoy Verma’s Malayalam debut.
The first look poster of Mohanlal-starrer Neerali was unveiled on Tuesday. Featuring a bearded Mohanlal -- we see him with his back to the camera as he turns to look at the viewer -- in the poster. It also features Parvati Nair and Nadhiya (born Zareena Moidu) prominently.
The drama thriller is being directed by Ajay Verma, who is making his debut in Malayalam films. Neerali, which translates to Octopus in Malayalam, will feature Mohanlal and Nadhiya as husband and wife and will be shot extensively in Mumbai, Pune and Sri Lanka.

According to a report inTimes of India, the film will see the coming together of the much-loved pair, Mohanlal and Nadhiya, after almost a decade.
Earlier in May, a short one-minute teaser of the film was released. It featured Mohanlal and Nadhiya sharing a light moment together before we encounter a tense moment when Mohahlal travelling in a car meets with an accident.
Produced by Santhosh T Kuruvilla, Neerali has been written by Saju Thomas and will have music by Stephen Devassy.
