The Thirrupathi Brothers presentation which boasts of an ensemble cast is a family drama about one man's attempt at solving a family dispute. As a mass entertainer, it has enough room for mirth, music and fanfare. We get to see how Sivakarthikeyan and his sidekick, Soori, go about putting things in place. Of course, how can we have a situational comedy like Rajinimurugan and not have a love interest for the hero! Actor Keerti Suresh steps in and does what heroines do in hero-oriented film -- sings songs and romances her man.

Slowly but surely Sivakarthikeyan is stepping out of his comic mould and getting into the Indian hero mould. And like it happens with all heroes, Sivakarthikeyan too fights goons but isn't quite in his elements yet.
