After much delay, the first look of Pawan Kalyan's Sardaar Gabbar Singh has been released by the producers on the eve of Independence Day. Putting the original Gabbar Singh of Sholay to shame, the poster shows popular Telugu actor-politician Pawan Kalyan walking with guns firing and much action in the background.
It's difficult to understand how a Telugu film could have a Hindustani name as its title, but this is mainstream Indian cinema and logic is not one of its strengths. Pawan Kalyan is a cop, we get that but why on earth does he also have a red gamcha is beyond comprehension. If it helps, the poster is captioned: Guts, Guns and Love.
Sardaar Gabbar Singh is a sequel to the actor's superhit film Gabbar Singh that released in 2012.
