What an entertaining game that was. It ends with 2-0 to Czech as the Dutch were stunned in Budapest. Thank you for joining us. Until tomorrow, it's goodbye from my side. But hey, we aren't done yet. BELGIUM VS PORTUGAL up next. Follow it live RIGHT HERE! See you there? See you there

Full-time! Czech Republic win

90+2' Czech subs- Schick and Barak make way for Sadilek and Krmencik

2 minutes plus stoppage time to go. Now or never

85' CZECH SUBS! Holes and Sevcik are replaced by Kral

THE BIG QUESTION. Do the Dutch still have a fight in them and two goals in the next 8-odd minutes or is this it?

79' GOOOOOOALL!!! SCHICK SCORES TO MAKE IT 2-0. OH MY GOD! WHAT A GAME THIS HAS BEEN. Coming to the goal, Holes charges down the left and his pull back finds the incoming Schick perfectly, whose first time shot is good enough to beat the keeper

78' SAVEEE!!! That wasn't far from becoming 2-0! Stekelenburg under immense pressure. Masopust has a crack at gool. Barak sets him with a reverse ball but Masopust's curling effort from the right finds the keeper.

73' A small cooling break is taken and de Boer uses it to bring on Wout Weghorst for De Roon

With just about 20 minutes left on the clock, 10-men Netherlands concede after the corner is deep and towards Kalas, who heads it back to Holes. The player generates enough power near the right post to head the ball in like a bullet

69' HOOLLLESS AND IT IS IN!! GOOOOOOALLL! CZECH REPUBLIC SCORE! YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE IT! THEY REALLY HAVE!

67' FUMBLE! CORNER! PRESSURE! A routine catch for Stekelenburg is fumbled behind for a corner after Barak crosses harmlessly. Such an easy catch but that tells you how high the pressure is. Blind is not happy but nothing comes off the corner.

64' BLOOOOCKEDD! DENZEL DUMFRIES. TAKE A BOW! Coufal's ball deep from the right beats Soucek and Schick but falls to Kaderabek. From inside the box, he looks to go right to the far post but his shocked is defended by Dumfries

60' WIDE! Czechs look to tilt momentum into their favous as Barak's cross to the near post is flicked wide by Schick. Dumfries had his hand up and the VAR checks for a potential penalty. Waiting.....no penalty. Can't imagine what Frank de Boer would have done had that been given.

Wow, the start to the second half has mirrored the first. Excellent football, high-octane intensity and a red card.

So, Schick, down the left, was through and was cutting into the box. De Ligt looked to stop and they both fell to ground. First, the referee gave Ligt a yellow and then a VAR check turned it into red as Ligt was seen palming the ball away on the way down. So a handball plus a foul to deny his opposition a clear opportunity to score.

56' YELLOW! Coufal takes a really poor kick and then is booked with a yellow for bringing down Dumfries, who had beaten him for pace.

54' RED CARD!!! DE LIGT IS OFF! IT'S ALL HAPPENING HERE! 2ND OF HIS CAREER AND THE PENDULUM SWINGS TOWARDS THE CZECHS!

53' WHAT A SAVE!!!! Vaclik has pulled off one of the best saves of the tournament so far and Malen cannot believe it. He deserved after a glorious run. He is set free and then he manages to get past a forest of bodies. Czech keeper charges forward, flings his hands out in a one-on-one situation. What a save

A reminder! No changes for either sides during the break

46' Netherlands get the ball rolling and we have a YELLOW CARD! Dumfries is booked for an elbow to Kaderabek. He is receiving treatment. After a while, he is back up and the game resumes.

SUMMARY: An excellent first half saw the Dutch start well. After a phase of pressure and a few attempts, they had to deal with the same as the Czechs clawed their way back into the game. Be it De Ligt, Barak or Soucek, there were multiple shots that should have found the net. But as the scoreline has it, it's 0-0 at half-time.

45+2' WIDEEEE!! Oh, boy! Depay with clever footwork and skill at the edge of the box on the left and he eventually finds the incoming run of Van Aanholt. He shoots wide of the far post but it wouldn't have mattered as the offside flag was raised.
