India Vs Pakistan, Asia Cup 2022 Highlights: Abdul Rana scored with less than a minute left on the clock to cancel the advantage India got thanks to debutant Karti Selvam's early goal.

India Vs Pakistan, Asia Cup 2022 Highlights: Karti Selvam scored his first goal for India in his debut match to put his team in front in the first quarter of the match but Abdul Rana dramatically cancelled that with just over a minute left to play to earn Pakistan a draw. While India had more possession, both teams had the same number of shots on goal and circle penetrations. It was Pakistan goalkeeper Akmal Hussain who was declared player of the match. India had more possession but they missed a number of chances to extend their lead and even a chance that came in the last 10 seconds of the match. They will now face reigning Asian Games champions Japan on Tuesday.

Simranjeet Singh had a chance to give India the lead again dramatically in the last 10 seconds after he received the ball in the D but his shot went wide. Pakistan put up successive waves of attack in the dying minutes of the fourth quarter and the pressure finally gave them a goal. It had been a pretty equal match in the end with both teams having the same number of shots on goal (11) and circle penetrations (9).

And Pakistan gets a PC straightaway! A takedown by Lakra deemed too dangerous by the umpire and he blows in Pakistan's favour. This time, they don't make any mistake with trapping the ball but the shot goes wide.

There goes the half time hooter and India have successfully defended the lead they took in the first quarter. They have controlled the flow of the game while a volatile Pakistan have shown flashes of brilliance but they have also been undone by some extraordinary errors, particularly when trapping the ball for a drag flick during a PC.

Clever variation on the PC as Dipsan Tirkey passes it to Sheshe Gowda but the latter's drag flick is palmed away by the Pakistan keeper Akmal Hussain. He has put up a good show in this second quarter.

Arfaz failes to put into the open goal. The ball comes to him at a height after the Indian keeper deflects a shot and he sends it over the goal.

Some quick words spoken by both coaches and the teams make their way back. Pakistan with the pushback and they are off the blocks quickly. They get in the Indian third and make a chance but, as had been the case throughout the 1st quarter, there is no one to finish the move.

Pakistan have made a lot of good progress in the Indian half but have no goals to show. India, on the other hand, will be looking to strengthen their defence, particularly down the flanks where Pakistan have sent in a lot of cut backs that have gone precariously across the face of the Indian goal. Ajaz Ahmad made one such run just before the hooter went up and sent a vicious one in from the right. Any sort of connection inside the D would have led to a goal for Pakistan.

It's a goal on debut for the 20-year-old as India finally convert a penalty corner. He didn't quite get a good grip on that drag flick but the Pakistan goalkeeper was caught out by a deflection that the ball took off the stick of Pakistan defender Muhammad Abdullah. India lead with just under 6 mins to go in the 1st quarter.
