DUSU president Ankiv Baisoya of ABVP to resign over fake degree case

Ankiv Baisoya won the DUSU elections in September, 2018. Soon after, the National Students Union of India (NSUI), the students wing of the Congress, and other student organizations started raising questions about the authenticity of Ankiv’s degree.

Violence, arson at Allahabad University campus after split verdict in students’ union elections

An FIR named 20 students, including student leader Atendra Singh, on the complaint of newly-elected Allahabad University students’ union president Uday Prakash Yadav. Police sources said at least four persons have been detained in connection with the arson.

Decision on DUSU president Ankiv Baisoya accused of faking marksheet likely today

The National Students Union of India alleged that newly-elected DUSU president Ankiv Baisoya, who belongs to Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, submitted fake documents to get admission to the Master’s in Buddhist Studies programme and had warned the Delhi University that it will approach the court if no action is taken on its complaint by Monday.
