Attack on syllabus, say DU teachers in response to NDTF’s claims

The NDTF has been demanding that a chapter on Suri be included in the syllabus of BA (Hons) in History. However, officials in the history department said that the same teachers’ group had opposed the chapter on Suri after which it was removed from the syllabus in 2016.

DU admission 2018: English (Hons) continues to be the most sought-after course

DU admission 2018: English (hons), which is offered at 46 colleges, has so far received 52,254 applications this year. Economics (hons), which is offered by 38 colleges, has received 40,492 applications and Political Science (hons) has received 40,509 applications till now.
