After Bihar man’s euthanasia plea, officials rush to build toilet, govt doc visits family

Devmuni Singh Yadav, father of three boys and a resident of Chhulkar village under Sanjhauli block of Rohtas district, in a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister Nitish Kumar, had requested the government to arrange for treatment of his children who suffer from a rare muscular disorder, otherwise allow for euthanasia.

2 get 10-year prison sentence for snatching Gurugram man’s Rs 500, voter ID

After a rise in incidents of snatching in Haryana, the state government had added two clauses (379 A and 379 B), defining snatching as a non-bailable offence, which will attract rigorous imprisonment for 10 to 14 years and a fine of Rs 25,000.
