Idli is one of those dishes that people around our country enjoy eating. The light and fluffy idlis go well with a tangy sambhar and chutney. Plus, they are best known to be easily and readily available. While generally, idlis may cost low, would you ever eat more than 8,000 plates of idlis worth 6 lakh? Recently, Swiggy shared a press release (PR) stating that a person from Hyderabad has spent a whopping 6 lakh on idlis over the last 12 months. This analysis was shared on the occasion of World Idli Day, which is celebrated on March 30 every year.
