IShowSpeed’s brother Jamal did not delete the Minecraft Hardcore world that IShowSpeed and Kai Cenat have been building for several days. A viral clip made it look like their progress was gone after Jamal opened Minecraft while the two streamers were asleep and deleted a saved world named “???”. Jamal himself appeared shocked, saying, “Wait! Did I just delete their… No!” However, the world he removed was not the one being used by IShowSpeed and Kai Cenat. IShowSpeed later checked the clip after waking up and confirmed that their main save was still safe.
Did Jamal delete IShowSpeed and Kai Cenat’s Minecraft Hardcore world?
The confusion started while IShowSpeed and Kai Cenat were taking a break from their Minecraft Hardcore run on August 11. They had spent hours building up their characters and were preparing for the next stage.
While they were asleep, Jamal took over IShowSpeed’s stream for a short time. He opened Minecraft’s “Select World” menu and clicked on the first saved world, which was named “???”. He then deleted it.
That worried viewers because they knew how much time had gone into the Hardcore run. Jamal also seemed to realise what he had done.
Which Minecraft world did Jamal actually delete?
The key detail was the active save’s name. IShowSpeed later checked the situation himself after waking up. He told viewers, “He didn’t delete ours. Chat, he didn’t delete ours. Bro, he was close. Nah, ours is [named ‘i got a bad b boat’]… Oh my god, I got scared for a minute.”
That confirmed the deleted world was separate from IShowSpeed and Kai Cenat’s save.
The pair’s current world is titled “i got a bad b boat” and had more than 20 hours of progress at the time. That is the world they were continuing to use after the viral clip.
IShowSpeed and Kai Cenat continue Minecraft Hardcore run
The streamers are now on the second edition of their Minecraft Hardcore series. Their 2025 run ended after they defeated the Ender Dragon following more than 100 hours of gameplay.
This time, they are trying to defeat four major Minecraft enemies: the Warden, Elder Guardian, Ender Dragon and Wither. They had also received help from Minecraft speedrunner Feinberg before their August 11 progress.

Their next target is the Warden. IShowSpeed and Kai Cenat have full enchanted diamond armour and Totems of Undying as they prepare for the fight. The pair had recorded 42 deaths by day six, with IShowSpeed taking most of the deaths.
