Shivaji, who is popular for his role in the TV show, CID, has pledged to donate all his organs, including the kidney, heart, lungs, liver, pancreas, small bowel, tissues, cornea, skin, bone, tendons, cartilage and heart valves.

“There are times when a person, even though he wants to, can’t extend a helping hand because circumstances restrict him. But, pledging an organ is something that everyone can do. Such good deeds fill up both our soul and heart with content and happiness. I can never forget that feeling. I hope more people take up such good causes, and at least pledge an organ, if not their entire body, so that we can help people who need our support,” he says.
