“Although a decade has passed since the show ended, I don’t think I’ll ever get away from Rosesh’s identity. But I am enjoying it thoroughly,” says Rajesh, adding, “The show was such a cult that even after years, nothing has changed. I feel blessed that people still remember me as Rosesh.”

And in spite of reports of another part to the series, Rajesh says it may not happen. “Everyone has aged now. The makers had plans and all the actors were also ready, but I think the channel had some issues. I guess the fans will have to be satisfied with the 70 episodes,” he says.

The 40-year-old, who is currently seen in the show Neeli Chatri Waale, recently replaced veteran actor Yashpal Sharma. “I thought it’d be easy to replace someone, but it was not. I was very nervous. And initially, everyone told me I was good but not as good as Yashpal ji. But now they’ve accepted me on the show,” he says.
