In the show, the Barfi director recreates the magic of old Bengal through some of Tagore’s short stories and novels like Chokher Bali, Charulata and Atithi.

Stories by Rabindranath Tagore explores the different roles that women play and the bold steps that they took in the nostalgic times of old Bengal, in many trying situations.

Here are some photos from the sets of Basu’s TV show when he shot for Tagore’s famous story Kabuliwala. The actor featured in the photos is Swachata S Guha.
