Parineeti Chopra reveals she owes Kesari’s Akshay Kumar money, the gifts she received from Nick at Priyanka’s wedding
Kesari actors Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra made an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote their upcoming film. Here are some tidbits from their conversations that have made their way to the internet.
Parineeti and Akshay spoke about the behind-the-scenes fun they had on Kesari sets, the gift that Parineeti received from Nick Jonas and joked how his friend flirted with her at the wedding -- all keeping in with the light tone of the show.
According to a report in BollywoodLife.com, Parineeti had to be on her toes to match up to Akshay when it came to punctuality. She revealed how Akshay would stand outside her vanity van and wait for her to come out for the shoot. She said that she was in awe of his discipline.
They also had lot of fun at the sets. Parineeti revealed how the two would play poker on sets during their free time and how Akshay would beat her often at the game. In fact, she owed him a lot of money too, thanks to the game. She also recently tweeted a picture of her giving him money.
They also spoke of what they are afraid of – Parineeti said that she had a phobia of snakes while Akshay said he was frightened of his wife Twinkle Khanna the most.
According to a report in Times Now, Kapil also asked Parineeti about the big, fat wedding of her cousin Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas in December last year. He asked her if she was given money in INR or USD, to which Parineeti replied that not only did she get a lot of money, she was given it in both INR and USD. She added that she also got diamonds.
In fact, after the wedding, Parineeti had even tweeted about it. She had written: “To all those speculating the joota hiding money - you know nothing!! All I can say is - you’re wrong!!!!! Haha. Nick was MORE THAN CRAZY HUGELY MADLY GENEROUS! No words. Still reeling. Phew. He shocked us. Whatta playa!!! @nickjonas.”
The banter didn’t stop there – Kapil asked her if any of Nick’s friends flirted with her during the wedding, to which Parineeti said yes. She reportedly joked: “Line toh mara par maine line di nahi! (They did flirt with me but I didn’t give them attention.)
