AISA National President Neha Bora alleges that law and order are being violated during the recent protests in Delhi. In her statement, she questioned the overnight detention of protesters, claimed she was denied access to a lawyer for several hours, and demanded the impeachment of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and a halt to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
Bora was detained by Delhi Police on the evening of October 16 under preventive provisions and was later released after the completion of formal procedures.
