‘Congress objected to Om on Rafale’: Rajnath Singh’s charge | Haryana polls

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh campaigned in Haryana's Karnal ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections. He raised the controversy over 'shastra puja' of the Rafale fighter aircraft. Singh had recently travelled to France's Merignac to take delivery of the first Rafale for the Indian Air Force. After the handover ceremony, the minister had performed 'shastra puja' of the jet. At the poll campaign, Singh accused Congress of empowering Pakistan with its statements.
