A video is now going viral of a group of people beating up a man for kissing his wife in Saryu river in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya. An angry mob can be seen pushing and pulling out the man from the river and then ganging up on him. One man can be seen hurling abuses and asking the husband if he has no family at home. The police have launched an investigation in the incident. Netizens are now divided over the incident with a debate on Indian culture sparking off on Twitter. While many tweeted pictures of ancient statues others pointed out how kissing is not a part of Indian culture. For more details, watch this video.
