BJP Skips First Major Polls In Kashmir Since Art. 370 Purge; NC, PDP’s Big Claim Amid Record Voting

Kashmir went to polls on May 13 in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections. The Lok Sabha elections in Srinagar are the first major electoral exercise in Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370. The National Conference and People’s Democratic Party alleged that their workers were detained just before voting and accused the Centre-run administration of harassment.
