As fresh showers brought respite to the people of Bengaluru, it also created problems for the people living in the vicinity of the Varthur lake in the city's eastern periphery. The heavy showers again lead to the foaming of the lake. The highly toxic lake spelled toxic foams all across the roads and the people had a tough time commuting.
