On Sunday, Malaika Arora and her boyfriend tested positive for coronavirus. Arjun released a statement on social media while news of Malaika testing positive was confirmed by her sister Amrita Arora. Also, Kerala Finance Minister Thomas Isaac was admitted to a hospital after he tested positive for coronavirus. Meanwhile, India recorded highest single-day spike and number of recoveries on Sunday. Over 90,000 cases were reported on Sunday while over 70,000 people recovered. In Kerala, a Covid-19 patient was allegedly raped by an ambulance driver while on their way to the hospital.
