From UK PM cancelling his India visit to SII, Bharat Biotech issued a joint statement on vaccine roll-out, here are the top updates on coronavirus pandemic. UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson called off his visit to India for Republic Day celebrations. This came after the UK PM announced another lockdown in the country over the new coronavirus variant. At least 20 more people tested positive in India for the new virus variant. Total 58 people have now tested positive for the new variant which was detected in the UK in December last year. Meanwhile, the Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech issued a joint statement pledging smooth roll-out of the vaccines. This comes after both the companies were involved in a public spat.
