Covid update: 10 lakh+ tests per day; Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations begin

From India achieving a new milestone in testing to Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations beginning on Saturday, here are the top updates on coronavirus pandemic. India is now testing 10 lakh tests per day, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. India has so far conducted over 3.4 crore tests. In Delhi, Covid-19 cases rose marginally with 1,412 new infections reported on Saturday. Cases in Delhi now past 1.6 lakh-mark. Meanwhile, The Bombay High Court's Aurangabad bench struck down criminal cases against 28 Tablighi jamaat members. The bench said the religious members were made scapegoats during the pandemic.
