A day before Indian Railways resumes passenger train services, Union Home Ministry cleared doubts regarding train travel. Punya Salila Srivastava, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, said that the government had issued a standard operating procedure (SOP) regarding passenger rail travel which included mandatory face masks, and denial of travel if passenger shows symptoms similar to Covid-19 illness. She also gave details regarding repatriation of Indians stranded in other countries, and the movement of migrant labourers across the country by rail. Watch the full video for more details.
