Indian version of Oscar, Nobel prizes announced by Amit Shah in West Bengal

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the government would institute new awards on the lines of the Nobel prize and the Oscar award. Speaking at an election rally in West Bengal's Gosaba, the BJP leader said that by naming new awards after Rabindranath Tagore and Satyajit Ray, the government would honour eminent sons of the state. He also spoke about giving women quota in government jobs, and making education for girls free. Watch the full video for more.
