The much-awaited film, 'The Dirty Picture' opened to huge crowds across different cities in India and earned a positive response from audiences on its first day. In Kolkata, people found the film's leading lady Vidya Balan's acting very appreciative. The film generated curiosity for being a biopic on the life of south Indian film actress Silk Smitha.
