Fans celebrate in Mumbai as ‘Thackeray’ hits theatre

Based on the life of former Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray, the movie “Thackeray” released on January 25 and saw supporters/fans celebrating outside the theatres in Mumbai. The movie is directed by Abhijit Panse and Nawazuddin Siddiqui portrays the character of Bal Thackeray. A special screening of the movie was also held in Mumbai earlier. Thackeray released on the same day as Kangana Ranaut-starrer “Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi”.
