On August 2, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for a series of significant aerial strikes on northern Israel. This assertion followed a phone conversation between Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Chief, Major General Hossein Salami, and Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. During their conversation, Salami had threatened "sacred fury" and "harsh revenge" by Iran-backed forces.
