‘How will India react if...’: Putin’s Indian origin legislator justifies war

An Indian origin legislator in Vladimir Putin's United Russia Party has now justified the war against Ukraine. Dr Abhay Kumar Singh is a deputat (equivalent to an MLA) from Kirsch in Russia. In an interview to a TV news channel, Dr Abhay Kumar Singh said, “If Ukraine joins NATO, it will bring NATO forces closer to us as Ukraine is our neighbouring country and it would be a violation of the agreement. Our President and Parliament had no option but to act and a decision was taken (to attack Ukraine).” Watch this video to know how he also rubbished reports which claimed that Putin is planning to carry out a nuclear attack on Ukraine.
