India condemns 2,900 attacks on minorities in Bangladesh as “grave concern”

India’s Ministry of External Affairs has said there have been over 2,900 documented incidents of violence against minorities in Bangladesh under the current interim government, calling the attacks on Hindus and other communities a “matter of great concern.” New Delhi has publicly condemned recent lynchings of Hindu men and warned that such “unremitting hostility” towards minorities cannot be dismissed as mere media exaggeration or routine political violence.
