India makes history as Droupadi Murmu takes oath as India's 1st tribal President

Droupadi Murmu sworn in as the 15th President of the country. Chief Justice of India NV Ramana administered Murmu oath of office at a ceremony in Parliament's Central Hall. Former President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President and Rajya Sabha chairman Venkaiah Naidu, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders were also present at the ceremony.
