Cong claims PM Modi posters violate Poll Code, says ‘EC ordered removal’

With the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections less than a month away, the Congress approached the Election Commission to complain against posters of Prime Minister Narendra Modi displayed at petrol pumps and railway stations. The Congress also raised the issue of 'obscene' comments against party president Rahul Gandhi by an NDA minister. Congress spokesperson RPN Singh said that the EC had ordered removal of the PM's posters while it had sought recordings of the NDA minister's comments.
