China has indefinitely suspended flights from India after people tested positive in last week's Vande Bharat Mission (VBM) flight. Air India has been operation special flights under VBM to certain cities of China. China has also barred entry of non-Chinese visitors from Britain, Belgium and the Philippines in view of rising coronavirus cases. Meanwhile, Delhi government announced on Thursday that firecrackers will be banned the national capital citing rising cases of Covid-19 and pollution. Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal asked people to join him on a virtual 'Laxmi Puja' for Diwali this year. Cases of Covid-19 in Delhi have been rising for the last few days following which Health Minster Dr Harsh Vardhan on Thursday asked the state government to ensure that people testing negative on antigen test should get tested for Covid-19.
