In a major boost for the Narendra Modi administration, the Supreme Court cleared the Central Vista project which seeks to revamp the seat of power in India. While dismissing a batch of 10 petitions, the top court said that clearance of the Heritage Conservation Committee (HCC) would be required before initiation of development work. The construction of a new Parliament building, a common Central Secretariat, and residences of the Prime Minister and Vice President are part of the plan. Watch the full video for more.
