Kerala: Thiruvananthapuram receives fresh rains, yellow alert issued

Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram received fresh rainfall on Wednesday, following which the Indian Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert for the district. Earlier this year, many parts of Kerala were flooded after heavy rainfall. Several people had lost their lives in rain-related incidents. Last year too, the southern state braved one of the worst floods in a century.
