Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday chaired the first meeting of National Rejuvenation, Protection and Management of River Ganga Council in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur. The meeting was held at Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology. UP CM Yogi Adityanath along with Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat were present at the meeting. The meeting was also attended by Uttrakhand chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and Bihar's deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi. PM Modi will review the progress of work done and deliberate on aspects of cleaning the Ganga.
