My First Vote: ‘More transparency and changes in policy’, says first-time voter Shepai

Nearly 18 million people between 18 and 23 are estimated to cast their ballot for the first time in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. Hindustan Times' My First Vote campaign aims to reach out to young, first-time voters to understand what they want, and what issues matter most to them. A first-time voter Shepai expects the incoming government to bring changes in the policy-making of the country. Shepai feels that there should be more transparency about the work and policy that the government implements.
